Sample Spirits and Learn How They’re Made at MurLarkey Distilled Spirits

Liquor advertisements often emphasize things like mystery and glamor, but when you get right down to it, distilling spirits is all about chemistry and physics. That’s something you can’t help but notice when touring the MurLarkey facilities in Bristow. Founded by a pair of brothers, Michael and James Larkin, along with their cousin Thomas Murray, MurLarkey Distilled Spirits has grown into an award winning craft distillery, using time-honored procedures and heritage equipment to produce small batches of whiskey, vodka, and gin.

Tours are offered every Friday and Saturday afternoon, and give you the chance to get a closer look at how the spirits are made, aged, and packaged. A guide will walk your group through the entire operation, explaining how the distilling process works from beginning to end and familiarizing you with the ingredients that go into each and every MurLarkey bottle. At the end of the tour, you’ll have the chance to sample a flights of your favorite spirit.
