The Lazy River snakes through SplashDown Waterpark, a 770-foot oasis of calm interspersed with a few fun water features to help riders cool off. It's one of the best local spots to grab a tube, kick off your flip-flops, and forget about any of the world's outside stresses. The Lazy River is just one part of the park, though, so if you're looking for some summer fun, you'll find that at SplashDown, too.
Thrillseekers should head straight for the Pipeline Slide Tower. It rises four stories from the ground and is completely encircled by a pair of closed slides, which twist and turn their way toward an awaiting pool. Zoom down the Pipeline slides or check out the straight Cannonball slides, which send you hurtling toward a huge, satisfying splash. Explore the floating features in the activity pools or sunbathe on the 250-ton white sand Big Kahuna Beach, right next to a child's play area.
