Grounds Central Station may have only opened in Old Town in 2010, but the vibe at this local institution feels more classic than that. The stately red brick storefront, local artwork on the walls, and chill atmosphere will conjure visions of iconic coffee houses from the 1990s.
Of course, none of that would mean much if the coffee wasn’t good. Grounds Central serves beans roasted locally by Monument Coffee, and the baristas are committed to preparing quality coffee and espresso drinks. In addition to your standard coffee and pastries, Grounds Central also offers a selection of smoothies, bubble teas, and cold brew drafts on nitro. If you’re feeling hungry, there’s a small breakfast and lunch menu. Standouts include the bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich, and the chicken pesto and mozzarella panini. There’s even a kids area with coloring books and games to keep the little ones occupied.
